A very interesting arc as it introduces more characters. Rebellious claymores are sent on a suicide mission against awakened beings from the north. The action scenes are fast paced and entertaining. Storywise, It focuses more on the humanizing of the characters more than anything else which makes the story more compelling. Overall, the distribution of the plot, action and drama is of equal value which makes it impressive to watch.

From the pages of Countdown to Infinite Crisis, Infinite Crisis and 52, comes the new hero the world will never know, Booster Gold.

Ignoring the fact that he is one of my favorite characters in comics, this issue comes with a big punch for a b-list character.

The art, although inconsistent, is at a decent level. Theres a lot of intricate details to read on its pages –which fits for its medium. (Although not as detailed as 52.)

Storywise, Geoff Johns did a great job in introducing the character without eating too much pages. He was able to write Booster’s past, present and future within the whole issue. One of the things fans would love are the references and the humor of the comic.

Overall, the comics does a great job on being able to introduce history while making character development and plotting the story. This is definitely a must read for both fans and non-fans of Booster Gold

End of a chapter and kept things interesting to the next chapter.

Amazingly crafted and emotionally engaging since Finding Nemo.

The story starts off with Remy and his colony living on a french countryside until they were discovered by an old lady and they were forced to leave. In-between the fiasco, Remy was separated and ended up in Paris. He stumbles upon a Restaurant owned by the former great chef, Auguste Gusteau’s. Inside, he meets the talentless Alfredo Linguini and they both strike a deal with each other. Remy helps Alfredo cook while Alfredo gives Remy what he always wanted to be– A chef. Other characters include, Skinner - the head chef of Gusteau’s, Colette - Only female chef in Gusteau’s, Emile - Remy’s brother and Django - Remy’s Dad.

The Movie, like any other Pixar movies, boasted great animation and stunning visuals. The subtle quirks, shock and other facial emotions were on the mark. A scene near the end where Skinner’s (the head Chef) facial expression was superbly animated.

Every part of the movie was endearing and never boring. The story is simple but the character & the story’s development were very existent. No characters were left unturned and everything was made sure that the message is delivered. The message of “Anyone can cook” is conveyed well and how it was told in the final scene was very engaging.

Overall, this was certainly the best movie for me so far. It’s not about fancy visual effects, cheesy scenes or lame jokes that makes a movie great. It’s if the movie connected with you. I advise people to watch this movie twice or more. It’s a film we should definitely support.

Let me first put the cards on the table. I watched it with very low expectations on the movie and I was wrong. It wasn’t bad– It wasn’t great either.

The story is about the Autobots & decepticons chasing after a cube that landed on (guess where…) Earth and in the mids of the battle is Sam “Spike” Witwicky with his nerdy teenage life facing typical teenage problems (guess what? Girls) caught right smack in the middle. That’s basically how the plot goes without spoiling much.

The first half of the movie was interesting and entertaining at best. It introduced the main characters while keeping the plot moving with the attack from the Decepticons. The other half is full of Michael Bay actions, Cheesy lines and standard Michael Bay emo scenes.

The special effects as usual on a typical Hollywood movie is superb. The Robots animated and transformed wonderfully but I still haven’t gotten over my dislike on the character designs. (hentai monsters anyone?)

The movie, for me lacked what I would call a ‘cohesiveness’ on the message and plot of the story. The main message that the movie was trying to convey was about sentient beings no matter how small or big, have the freedom to live. However, the story didn’t support the message, instead the story just went on without conveying the message. The robot characters itself didn’t have much development and for me was very single sided. Optimus Prime didn’t have the aura of a commanding leader nor a connection with the main hero. Bumblebee had the connection with the hero yet he only had a minor role. The rest of the characters didn’t have any other development in the movie as most of the development time went to Sam in which he didn’t really needed that much time. The innuendos were fun although some jokes were just plain silly and forced. The movie also had some ‘cheesy-where’d-that-come-from’ lines where I just couldn’t help but shake my head. The Decepticons had no character nor development whatsoever as they’re just robot monsters who were born to be evil.

Overall, It’s a very entertaining movie. Don’t expect the story to be an epic (although the music is very epic, the movie isn’t.) It’s a popcorn flick that you should only watch for fun.
